Chana Bloch, with her co-translator Chana Krofeld have recently published Hovering at Low Altitude, a book of poems by the great Israeli writer Dahlia Ravikovitch (1936-2005). The book is out from W.W. Norton & Co.

San Francisco poet August Kleinzahler, highlighted in Marvin R. Hiemstra’s column this issue, won the $150,000 Lannan Foundation’s Literary Award this past spring. The award recognizes writers “who have made significant contributions to English-language literature.” Congratulations to Kleinzahler!
